We are seeking a detail-oriented Procurement Engineer to join a leading Oil & Gas and MEP company in Qatar. This role is ideal for professionals with a strong background in procurement and a degree in engineering disciplines such as Mechanical, Electrical, or Instrumentation. The successful candidate will contribute significantly to the sourcing and purchasing processes, ensuring efficiency and alignment with project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

The Procurement Engineer will be responsible for managing procurement activities, coordinating with suppliers, and supporting the engineering teams to fulfill project needs. This includes evaluating supplier proposals, negotiating terms, and ensuring timely delivery of materials and services critical to operations.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience in procurement within the oil & gas or related sectors.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Instrumentation Engineering.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to analyze technical documents and specifications.
• Preferred candidates are those currently residing in Qatar, ensuring seamless transition and availability.
