Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated Junior Planning Engineer with 2 to 3 years of experience in project planning, preferably within the construction or infrastructure sectors. Candidates with GCC experience and knowledge of Oil & Gas projects will have an advantage. This role is based in Asab, Abu Dhabi and offers a comprehensive package including food, accommodation, transportation, and air tickets.

Key Responsibilities

The Junior Planning Engineer will be responsible for preparing and updating project schedules, monitoring project progress, and generating detailed planning reports. The role also involves coordinating project documentation and resources, interpreting engineering drawings, and assisting with basic risk analysis and extension of time (EOT) claims.

Required Skills

• Solid understanding of project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation
• Familiarity with Primavera P6 and advanced proficiency in MS Excel
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings accurately
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Good communication and coordination skills to collaborate with project teams effectively
• Basic knowledge of EOT claims and project risk assessments

Qualifications and Experience

A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering is required for this role. Candidates should have 2 to 3 years of relevant GCC experience and be comfortable working in remote locations. Experience within Oil & Gas projects is a plus.
