Job Overview

Connect IT is seeking a dedicated Technical Support Officer to join their team on-site in Dubai. This role involves providing hands-on technical support at the customer location, troubleshooting hardware and software challenges, and ensuring seamless IT operations for end-users.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering Level 1 and Level 2 technical assistance, encompassing hardware and software issues, desktop management, and Windows environment support. Maintaining accurate IT asset inventories and managing incidents and service requests through IT Service Management (ITSM) tools are essential parts of this role. Additionally, the role requires providing timely on-site support and regular updates to the line manager.

Required Skills and Experience

Applicants should bring between 2 to 5 years of experience in IT Technical Support or within a Service Desk environment. Strong expertise in Windows administration, hardware troubleshooting, and understanding of IT infrastructure is necessary. Experience with ITSM systems and IT asset management tools is highly valued. Preferred candidates will hold certifications like ITIL, CCNA, or Microsoft 365 Certified and possess proficient communication skills in both English and Arabic.

Compensation

The position offers a competitive monthly salary ranging from AED 9,000 to AED 10,000, reflective of skills and experience.
