Job Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Accountant who can also efficiently manage office administrative and secretarial duties. This dual-role requires a professional capable of handling financial tasks along with general office management to support smooth business operations.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and performing comprehensive office administration functions, including:
- Managing daily accounting operations using Tally software, such as bookkeeping and financial reporting.
- Preparing and filing VAT returns to ensure compliance with tax laws.
- Maintaining ledgers, invoices, and other crucial financial documentation.
- Processing payroll, payments, and receipts promptly and accurately.
- Providing assistance during audit preparations and supporting audit activities.
- Carrying out various administrative tasks like scheduling appointments and handling correspondence.
- Performing secretarial duties, including minute-taking and organizing office files.
- Ensuring compliance with LMRA (Labour Market Regulatory Authority) and GOSI (General Organization for Social Insurance) regulations.
Required Skills and Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have a solid background in both accounting and office administration, with:
– Proven experience in accounting and office administration or related roles.
– Sound knowledge of VAT regulations, audit procedures, and regulatory compliance with LMRA and GOSI.
– Proficiency in Tally software and other common office tools.
– Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
– Excellent written and verbal communication capabilities.
