Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Project Manager specialized in Building Management Systems (BMS) and Building Energy Management Systems (BEMS) to join a long-term contract project in Qatar. The role requires managing all phases of BMS/BEMS and Building Automation projects ensuring successful execution, commissioning, and delivery while maintaining strong stakeholder engagement throughout.

Key Responsibilities

The Project Manager will oversee project execution including planning, coordinating with clients and subcontractors, and supervising testing and commissioning phases to ensure smooth handover. Effective management of project teams and ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards is essential. Utilizing scheduling software such as MS Project or Primavera P6 will aid in managing critical project milestones.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or related Engineering discipline.
• Minimum of 10 years’ hands-on experience managing BMS/BEMS, BAS, or building automation projects.
• In-depth knowledge of HVAC controls, Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), Motor Control Centers (MCC), Guest Room Management Systems (GRMS), energy management, and metering systems.
• Proven expertise in project execution, commissioning, testing, and handover activities.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills to effectively manage clients, subcontractors, and team members.
• PMP certification is a valuable asset.
• Familiarity with project management tools such as MS Project, Primavera P6, and AutoCAD is preferred.

Preferred Experience

Experience handling projects across commercial, hospitality, healthcare, infrastructure, industrial, or mixed-use developments will be considered an advantage, enabling a well-rounded understanding of diverse project environments and requirements.

Work Environment

This position is based in Qatar with a mandatory visa transfer arrangement. The role involves collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders, requiring strong organizational and interpersonal skills to meet project goals in a dynamic environment.
