Job Overview

We are urgently seeking a skilled Workshop Planner specializing in joinery to join our team in Bahrain. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and managing detailed production schedules in alignment with project deadlines and site requirements. This role involves close collaboration with project managers and design teams to ensure smooth production flow and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities

The Workshop Planner will develop and implement weekly and daily plans for various production stages, including machining, assembly, polishing, and finishing. Duties include allocating resources such as manpower and machinery based on workload priorities, coordinating dispatch schedules with logistics and site teams, and monitoring production progress to identify and address any delays or obstacles. The planner will also focus on optimizing workflows to enhance productivity and reduce downtime, while maintaining accurate records and reports of production activities.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Candidates should hold a diploma or bachelor’s degree in production engineering, civil engineering, or a related discipline. A background of 4 to 8 years in joinery workshop planning or a manufacturing environment is essential. The role requires a solid understanding of joinery production processes such as cutting, edging, veneering, polishing, and assembly. Proficiency in MS Excel and production planning software is necessary, along with strong multitasking abilities to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary package of BD 500, complemented by an HRA of BD 120, family status allowance, and other standard benefits. The role provides an excellent opportunity to work within a dynamic team, contributing to impactful projects in the joinery sector.
