Key Responsibilities

As a Factory Draftsman, you will be responsible for creating detailed shop and fabrication drawings for a range of kitchen equipment. This involves interpreting architectural, mechanical, and technical blueprints to ensure accurate documentation. You will collaborate closely with the production team to verify that drawings align with manufacturing requirements, update drawings based on project modifications or client feedback, and maintain strict adherence to company standards and project specifications. Maintaining accurate drawing records and documentation will also be an essential part of your role.

Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will hold a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Drafting, or a related discipline. Proficiency in AutoCAD (both 2D and 3D) is essential, while familiarity with SolidWorks will be advantageous. Prior experience in stainless steel fabrication or working with commercial kitchen equipment will be highly valued. Strong attention to detail, effective problem-solving capabilities, and good communication skills are necessary for navigating this fast-paced manufacturing environment. Teamwork and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously are also critical.
