Job Overview

We are urgently seeking two skilled Medical Equipment Engineers to join a leading healthcare facility in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role primarily involves ensuring the safe and effective operation of medical equipment by overseeing installation, maintenance, repair, and calibration. Applicants preferably from the Philippines with relevant experience will be given priority.

Key Responsibilities

The Medical Equipment Engineer will play a crucial role in maintaining critical healthcare technology. Responsibilities include conducting incoming inspections, installing and commissioning new medical devices, and carrying out planned preventive maintenance (PPM) as well as corrective repairs on existing equipment. You will also calibrate devices to guarantee precision and performance, respond promptly to emergency repair calls, and participate in quality assurance rounds to assess equipment safety.

Additionally, managing inventory for replacement parts and documenting all maintenance activities via a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) are integral parts of this position. Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations as well as manufacturer standards is essential, along with effective communication with clinical users regarding equipment status and issues.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Clinical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of three years’ experience in medical equipment installation and maintenance, either locally or internationally.
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office and CMMS tools for managing maintenance logs and schedules.
• Good command of both Arabic and English, including business communication skills.
