Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Accountant with 3-5 years of experience in the contracting or construction industry to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be proficient in managing financial transactions, ensuring compliance with VAT regulations, and preparing accurate financial reports. This role requires a detail-oriented professional capable of working independently and meeting strict deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting activities including accounts payable and receivable.
• Prepare and analyze financial reports and bank reconciliations.
• Manage supplier payments and customer collections efficiently.
• Ensure adherence to UAE VAT laws and handle related documentation.
• Support the monthly and year-end account closing processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• 3-5 years’ experience in accounting within contracting or construction sectors.
• Hands-on experience with Zoho Books and Tally ERP accounting software.
• Strong understanding of accounts payable/receivable, payroll, VAT, and financial reporting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple deadlines efficiently.
