Job Overview

We are looking for a dedicated Senior Accountant to join our finance team in Al Qusais, Dubai. This role involves overseeing day-to-day accounting activities, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and maintaining compliance with UAE regulations. The position offers a salary of up to AED 4,000 per month, with a preference given to male candidates.

Key Responsibilities

The Senior Accountant will manage various accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance. Responsibilities also include preparing monthly financial statements, management information system (MIS) reports, and handling month-end closing procedures. The role requires conducting reconciliations for banks, suppliers, and customers, monitoring cash flow, and scheduling payments effectively.

Additionally, preparing VAT reports in line with UAE laws and maintaining accurate fixed-asset and payroll accounting records are essential tasks. The candidate will also collaborate closely with auditors to facilitate annual audit processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications

A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline is required. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of relevant accounting experience, with preference for those who have worked within the UAE financial environment.

Strong expertise in UAE VAT regulations, reconciliation procedures, and financial reporting standards is necessary. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in ERP or accounting software tools along with advanced Microsoft Excel capabilities. Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills are crucial to perform effectively in this position.
