Key Responsibilities

The Junior Accountant will support the finance department by handling daily accounting operations. Responsibilities include processing accounts payable and receivable, performing bank reconciliations, and managing petty cash transactions. Additionally, this role involves organizing financial documents such as invoices and payment receipts and assisting senior accountants in preparing monthly financial reports and audit documentation.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• One to two years of accounting experience, preferably in the UAE.
• Basic knowledge of UAE VAT rules and general accounting principles.
• Proficient in MS Excel and familiar with accounting software like ERP or SAP.
• Strong numerical aptitude with excellent attention to detail.
