Job Overview

We are currently looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Female Assistant Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will bring strong accounting expertise, excellent organizational abilities, and a proactive mindset to support our financial operations effectively.

Key Responsibilities

The Assistant Accountant will handle various accounting tasks including maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. Responsibilities include managing the Chart of Accounts, General Ledger, journal vouchers, and processing sales and purchase invoices. You will also be responsible for managing accounts payable and receivable, conducting reconciliations of bank, customer, supplier, and intercompany accounts, and supporting month-end closing and financial reporting. Additional duties involve petty cash management, VAT documentation, and preparing for audits.

Required Skills and Qualifications

The candidate should possess a solid understanding of accounting principles and financial controls, along with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in Zoho Books or Zoho ERP and advanced Microsoft Excel skills are essential. Attention to detail, integrity, and the ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities under tight deadlines are critical for success in this role. A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required, and experience in UAE accounting regulations is preferred.
