Specialized Activity Contracting is seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to join their expanding team in Dammam. This role is ideal for professionals with a strong background in electrical engineering within construction or industrial sectors, who are ready to contribute to complex projects in Saudi Arabia.

Key Responsibilities

The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for designing, planning, and supervising electrical systems across various projects. Duties include performing load calculations, managing electrical distribution systems, and overseeing the installation and testing of low and medium voltage (LV/MV) electrical setups. The role also involves cable sizing, working with panel boards, transformers, and generators, as well as troubleshooting and maintaining electrical equipment.

Other important tasks include preparing Bills of Quantities (BOQ), developing shop drawings, and finalizing as-built drawings. The engineer will supervise site activities, coordinate effectively with other disciplines, and ensure that all work complies with safety standards and quality assurance/control procedures. Accurate project documentation and reporting are also essential aspects of this job.

Required Skills and Experience

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience as an Electrical Engineer
• Proven expertise in construction or industrial projects
• Familiarity with Saudi Arabian electrical standards and regulations
• Strong ability to read and interpret electrical drawings
• Practical knowledge of safety protocols and QA/QC processes

Requirements

Candidates must be eligible for a local Iqama transfer to Saudi Arabia and ready for immediate relocation if necessary. Experience working in Dammam or the broader Saudi market is preferred to ensure a smooth adaptation to local project demands and compliance expectations.
