Job Overview

A reputable security systems company based in Dammam, Saudi Arabia is seeking a skilled CCTV and Network Technician with hands-on experience in installing and configuring both IP and analog surveillance systems. This role involves working on-site across various locations in the Eastern Province to ensure the effective setup and maintenance of security equipment.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for installing and configuring CCTV systems, including IP and analog cameras, as well as managing network cabling related to these systems. Duties also include troubleshooting and maintaining existing CCTV equipment to guarantee optimal performance. Additionally, the technician will handle the configuration and servicing of NVR and DVR units, IP intercom systems, TP-Link access points, and alarm systems as necessary.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• At least 2 years of practical experience in CCTV installation and system configuration.
• Proficiency with both IP and analog CCTV technologies.
• Experience configuring Network Video Recorders (NVR) and Digital Video Recorders (DVR).
• Knowledge of IP intercom systems, access points, and alarm system setup and troubleshooting.
• Understanding of structured cabling, UTP wiring, and cable termination techniques.
• Basic networking knowledge, including familiarity with TCP/IP, network switches, and routers.
• Basic English communication skills to interact effectively on site.
• Experience with Hikvision or Dahua security products is highly desirable.

Additional Requirements

• Must hold a transferable Iqama.
• Possession of a valid Saudi driving license is preferred.
• Candidate should be under 36 years of age.
• Immediate availability to join is essential.

Work Environment

This role involves travelling within the Eastern Province to various customer locations. The technician will work closely with clients to ensure security systems are installed accurately and functioning correctly, requiring good interpersonal skills and the ability to handle technical challenges on-site.
