Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Assistant BMS Engineer to join a top facility management company based in Qatar. This role focuses on managing and maintaining Building Management Systems (BMS) to ensure optimal performance and efficiency of building operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electronics or electrical engineering and significant hands-on experience with various BMS platforms.

Key Responsibilities

The Assistant BMS Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the installation, testing, commissioning, and handover of BMS projects. They will conduct both preventive and corrective maintenance to keep systems running smoothly. The role also involves preparing accurate cost estimates, technical reports, and necessary documentation related to BMS activities.

Required Skills and Experience

• Diploma in Electronics or Electrical Engineering; a Bachelor’s degree is an advantage
• At least 5 years of practical experience working with Building Management Systems
• Proficiency in Siemens, Alerton, Niagara, Trend, and Schneider BMS platforms
• Solid knowledge of installation and commissioning processes, as well as system handover and takeover procedures
• Experience handling preventive and corrective maintenance tasks
• Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and Computer-Aided Facility Management (CAFM) tools
• Strong technical report writing and cost estimation capabilities
• Excellent command of English, both written and verbal
