Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Pre-Commissioning Lead to join a dynamic offshore oil and gas project in Oman or Doha. The ideal candidate will have a solid engineering background and extensive experience managing pre-commissioning activities in new-build offshore projects. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively within diverse, multicultural teams.

Key Responsibilities

As the Pre-Commissioning Lead, you will oversee the planning and execution of all pre-commissioning tasks to ensure smooth and safe project delivery. Your duties will include managing teams, coordinating with other departments, and adhering to industry standards and safety protocols. You will also be responsible for troubleshooting and solving any technical challenges that arise during the pre-commissioning phase.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or an equivalent qualification
• 10 to 15 years of relevant offshore oil and gas experience
• 8 to 10 years of demonstrated pre-commissioning management in new-build projects
• Proven leadership abilities with a strong track record in problem-solving
• Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
• Familiarity with OPERCOM, ICAPS, MANASA, and PRODOM standards
• Proficient computer skills with an emphasis on data management
• Ability to thrive in complex and multicultural work environments
• Mandatory H2S OPITO and T-BOSIET safety training certifications
