Job Overview
We are urgently seeking qualified Environmental Coordinators for a 6-month contract in Saudi Arabia’s Eastern Province. This role is ideal for professionals with a background in environmental engineering and experience within the oil and gas sector. The position involves supporting environmental compliance and sustainability efforts on major petrochemical, refining, or NGL projects.
Key Responsibilities
The Environmental Coordinator will work closely with project teams to monitor and implement environmental policies, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards. Responsibilities include coordinating environmental documentation, conducting site inspections, and supporting environmental management processes to minimize project impact.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering from an accredited institution.
- Advanced degrees (Master’s or PhD) in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Management, Sustainability, or related fields are highly desirable.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in the oil and gas industry, especially in offshore, refining, petrochemical, or natural gas liquids (NGL) projects.
Documentation and Compliance
Candidates must possess updated documents including:
- Valid Absher Iqama
- Muqeem residence permit valid for at least three months
- Current passport
- Valid insurance coverage
- Medical certification including blood group
- Copy of Commercial Registration (CR)
