Job Overview

We are currently seeking a skilled Mechanical Draftsman for a three-month contract in Qatar. This role demands proficiency in AutoCAD 2D and SolidWorks 3D to produce precise mechanical drawings and models for manufacturing purposes. Immediate joining candidates with a valid Qatar ID are preferred.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating detailed 3D part, assembly, and fabrication models using SolidWorks, and converting them into accurate manufacturing drawings. You will apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) principles to ensure clarity and precision. Additionally, interpreting engineering drawings and specifications is a vital part of this position. Understanding machining symbols and surface finish standards is essential to support quality control.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Strong expertise in AutoCAD (2D) and SolidWorks (3D) software
• Experience with generating manufacturing drawings from 3D models
• Knowledge of GD&T and its practical application
• Ability to read and interpret detailed engineering drawings and specifications
• Familiarity with machining symbols and surface finish requirements
• Valid Qatar ID (QID) for immediate joining
