Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Coating Inspector with BGAS 2 or NACE 2 certification to join our team in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. This role requires a professional who is well-versed in surface preparation and coating inspection, with a focus on structural steel, piping, tanks, and pressure vessels.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting thorough coating inspections throughout fabrication and assembly stages. Ensuring adherence to project specifications, industry codes, and quality standards is vital. Daily tasks include preparing detailed inspection reports and maintaining comprehensive quality documentation. The inspector will also collaborate closely with fabrication and QA/QC teams to address and resolve any inspection-related issues efficiently.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Valid BGAS 2 or NACE 2 certification is mandatory.
• In-depth knowledge of surface preparation, protective coatings, and painting inspection for various industrial applications.
• Proven experience in quality control and final acceptance inspections related to coatings.
• Ability to interpret and apply coating specifications, drawings, and standards such as AMPP/NACE, SSPC, ISO, and ASTM.
• Strong communication skills for effective documentation and reporting.
