We are seeking a seasoned Senior Data Protection and Privacy Specialist to take charge of privacy operations at a national level in Qatar. This role is ideal for privacy professionals with extensive experience in data protection, looking to lead impactful initiatives and ensure compliance with evolving privacy regulations.

Key Responsibilities

As the lead privacy specialist, you will oversee and manage data privacy frameworks, develop robust strategies to safeguard sensitive information, and ensure compliance with applicable data protection laws. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement best practices and lead educational initiatives on privacy within the organization.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• At least 8 years of hands-on experience in data protection and privacy management
• Professional certification such as CIPM (Certified Information Privacy Manager) or CIPP (Certified Information Privacy Professional) is essential
• Proven expertise in leading privacy compliance and operational management on a large scale
• Strong knowledge of national and international privacy regulations and standards
• Excellent communication and leadership skills to guide teams and influence stakeholders
