Job Overview

GETS Contracting LLC is seeking a skilled Restaurant Consultant Engineer to support restaurant and commercial kitchen projects across the UAE and India. This role involves providing expert consultancy and technical services to optimize restaurant, café, hotel kitchen, cloud kitchen, and catering kitchen setups, ensuring compliance with local regulations and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

The consultant will oversee the entire process of designing and executing food service environments, including:

• Planning and implementing restaurant and café setups
• Designing cafeterias and hotel kitchens with functional layouts
• Developing cloud kitchen and catering kitchen configurations
• Ensuring adherence to Dubai Municipality Food Safety and DHA standards
• Facilitating approvals from authorities such as DM, DCD, and RTA
• Creating detailed 2D and 3D design plans
• Coordinating MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) and civil works
• Managing interior fit-out and renovation projects
• Overseeing kitchen equipment supply and installation
• Supervising gas line installations, exhaust hood, and ducting works
• Organizing routine kitchen maintenance including grease trap and burner cleaning
• Installing signage boards and providing hospitality consultancy
• Setting up kitchen operations and POS systems
• Handling additional projects like villa maintenance, supermarket, and salon setups

Experience and Expertise

The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience with diverse commercial kitchen and restaurant projects, demonstrated by:

• Successful completion of 68 restaurant projects
• Execution of 4 supermarket projects
• Completion of 7 men’s and ladies’ salon projects
• Management of villa maintenance and various commercial projects

Requirements

Applicants should possess a strong background in engineering related to hospitality and food service environments, excellent problem-solving skills, and familiarity with the regulatory frameworks applicable in the UAE and India. Effective communication skills and ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams are essential.
