Job Overview

Qatar University is seeking a skilled Facilities Engineer specializing in Extra Low Voltage (ELV) systems for a contract position lasting one month, with potential for extension. This role offers a monthly all-inclusive salary of QAR 7,000 and is based at the Qatar University campus.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining ELV systems including CCTV, Access Control, Fire Alarm, Building Management Systems (BMS), Structured Cabling, Public Address (PA) systems, and SMATV. This role involves overseeing the operational integrity and effective functioning of all ELV facilities to ensure a safe, secure, and efficient environment throughout the university premises.

Required Skills and Experience

• A bachelor’s degree in Electronics is required.
• Minimum of 8 years’ experience in ELV facilities management.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in the GCC is mandatory, ensuring familiarity with regional standards and regulations.
• In-depth knowledge and hands-on expertise with CCTV, Access Control, Fire Alarm systems, BMS, Structured Cabling, PA systems, and SMATV.
• Possession of a valid Qatar QID is preferred.
• Immediate availability to join is an advantage.
