Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to provide personalized assistance to a joyful, verbal autistic child based in Al Furjan, Dubai. This role focuses on fostering the child’s communication abilities and social skills through supportive, play-based methods.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the child with daily learning activities to promote speech development and social interaction.
- Encourage independence by applying patient and engaging techniques.
- Assist the child at home during school holidays and continue support within the school environment during term time.
Work Schedule
During school holidays, work hours are 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the child’s home. From September, hours shift to 7:30 AM to 12:30 PM, working within the school setting alongside the child.
Candidate Requirements
- Experience working with autistic or neurodivergent children is highly desirable.
- Comfortable employing a play-based approach to enhance learning and growth.
- Strong ability to encourage communication, social engagement, and self-sufficiency in children.
- Candidates must currently hold a Husband’s Visa to be eligible for this position.
Compensation
The salary for this role is AED 2,200 per month.
