Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager with extensive experience managing bank-financed engineering projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction and fit-out projects, particularly those funded through banking institutions. This role requires a strategic leader capable of overseeing projects from inception to successful completion, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

The Project Manager will be responsible for the full lifecycle management of multiple construction and fit-out projects. Duties include supervising contractors and consultants on site, monitoring project progress, evaluating quality standards, certifying payments, and ensuring smooth project handovers. The role involves preparing detailed project plans, cost estimates, budgets, risk assessments, and progress reports. Additionally, the Project Manager will coordinate effectively with banks, contractors, consultants, and internal teams to maintain clear communication, compliance, and timely reporting. Evaluating contractors and consultants, handling project variations, monitoring costs and timelines, and recommending operational improvements also fall under this role.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from a recognized university.
• Certification in Financial Management and Project Management (PMP or PRINCE2).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Deep knowledge of processes related to bank-financed projects.
• At least 15 years of professional experience, with a minimum of 5 years in a similar project management role.
• Strong leadership skills with experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Experience

Candidates with a proven track record of overseeing construction and fit-out projects funded by banks will excel in this role. Experience working closely with banking institutions and familiarity with their internal procedures is highly desirable. Immediate availability or willingness to join with a short notice period is preferred.
