Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Wired Network Presales Engineer to join our team in Dammam. This role involves designing and proposing optimal wired network solutions tailored to client needs while ensuring compliance with industry standards. The successful candidate will support the sales process through technical expertise from initial bids to project handover.

Key Responsibilities

The candidate will be responsible for reviewing customer Requests for Quotation (RFQs), technical specifications, drawings, and Bills of Quantities (BOQs). Your tasks will include designing cost-effective and technically viable wired network solutions, preparing detailed technical proposals, cost estimates, product selections, and compliance documentation. You will develop network architecture diagrams, equipment schedules, and system descriptions. Coordination with customers, consultants, suppliers, and manufacturers is essential to clarify technical and commercial points. Additionally, you will assist the sales team during bidding processes, technical presentations, negotiations, and project handovers, ensuring all proposed solutions meet Saudi Aramco and relevant industry standards.

Required Skills and Experience

Applicants must have in-depth knowledge of LAN/WAN network design, routing, and switching technologies. Experience with structured cabling systems—copper and fiber optics—is crucial. Familiarity with fiber-optic transmission systems, DWDM/OTN technologies, IP telephony, and network hardware including cabinets and racks is also required. Proficiency in preparing material take-offs, BOQs, datasheets, and technical submittals is important, alongside a thorough understanding of products from leading networking and telecom manufacturers.

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Network, Electronics, or Computer Engineering.
• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in presales or network solution design.
• Strong skills in technical proposal writing and cost estimation.
• Proficient in both written and spoken English.
• Experienced with Microsoft Office and network design tools.
• Previous involvement with Saudi Aramco, industrial, oil and gas, or EPC projects is advantageous.
• Professional certifications related to networking or telecom technologies are preferred.
• Availability to work in Dammam or the Eastern Province is required.
