Job Overview

We are currently seeking a skilled Finance Manager to join our engineering and construction company based in Abu Dhabi, UAE. This full-time, on-site role offers a competitive starting salary of 8,000 AED, with potential increases based on experience and qualifications. Immediate joiners or candidates available within 30 days are preferred.

Key Responsibilities

The Finance Manager will play a critical role in overseeing the financial operations and ensuring regulatory compliance within the organization. Responsibilities include managing financial reporting, budgets, forecasts, and VAT and Corporate Tax obligations under UAE law. The role involves close collaboration with engineering and project teams to monitor project finances and support decision-making through detailed financial analysis.

• Supervise accounting activities and daily financial operations
• Prepare comprehensive financial statements, budgets, and management reports
• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT and Corporate Tax requirements, including timely filing and reporting
• Monitor cash flow, working capital, and enforce stringent cost controls
• Lead financial analysis efforts to deliver actionable business insights
• Coordinate financial aspects of projects with engineering teams
• Support audit processes and consolidate financial reporting
• Enhance financial processes, controls, and reporting systems for efficiency
• Manage finance functions in a dynamic, fast-paced project environment
• Guide and develop finance team members as the business expands

Required Skills and Qualifications

Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a relevant discipline, coupled with a minimum of five years in finance management, including three years within the UAE market. Proven experience in the engineering or construction industry is essential, with in-depth knowledge of local VAT and Corporate Tax regulations.

• Certified Accountant qualification such as ACCA, CPA, or CA (mandatory)
• Proficiency in ERP and accounting software, along with advanced Excel skills
• Strong financial planning, cost control, and risk management capabilities
• Fluent in English; Arabic language skills are a plus

Preferred Experience

Experience working within multinational corporations or Chinese-funded enterprises is favored, alongside broader GCC region experience. Additional certifications like CMA or other finance-related credentials will enhance candidacy.
