Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Chief Accountant to lead our accounting team within the construction and contracting sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing financial operations and a proven track record in directing accounting functions related to construction projects. This role offers a competitive salary range of AED 18,000 to AED 22,000.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance.
• Manage all accounting activities, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll.
• Prepare financial statements and reports in accordance with industry standards and regulations.
• Oversee budgeting processes, cost control, and financial forecasting tailored to the contracting industry.
• Coordinate with auditors and regulatory authorities as needed to maintain transparency and compliance.

Required Skills and Experience

• Extensive experience in leading accounting teams, preferably in construction or contracting sectors.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and construction industry financial practices.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
• Strong leadership and communication skills to mentor staff and interact with stakeholders.

Additional Details

Immediate joiners will be given priority during the hiring process. We also have opportunities for Senior Accountants offering AED 14,000 to AED 16,000, specifically requiring construction industry experience.
