Job Overview

Berkeley is expanding its facilities management division and seeks a skilled Facilities Management Engineer to oversee and optimize operations in both hard and soft services. This role requires a professional with a strong background in engineering and extensive experience managing facility services to ensure smooth, efficient, and compliant operations.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will lead the coordination and delivery of maintenance and operational tasks across mechanical, electrical, and building service disciplines. Responsibilities include managing preventative and reactive maintenance programs, supervising service contractors, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the facilities portfolio.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Between 5 to 7 years of hands-on experience in facilities management, proficient in both hard services (mechanical, electrical systems) and soft services (cleaning, security, and other building support services).
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Valid UAE driving license with access to a personal vehicle.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Effective communication skills for liaising with diverse teams and stakeholders.

Additional Requirements

Preference will be given to candidates who can join immediately or on short notice. Candidates should demonstrate a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to maintaining high standards across facility operations.
