Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled Mechanical Engineer with significant experience working on Cluster 2 airport projects in Saudi Arabia. This role focuses on the installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of generator systems that support airport operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background and familiarity with airport infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

The Mechanical Engineer will oversee the installation and maintenance of diesel generator systems, ensuring all works meet safety and quality standards. Coordination with electrical, civil, and MEP teams is essential to guarantee smooth project execution. Responsibilities also include reviewing mechanical drawings and technical specifications related to generator installations, monitoring project progress, and providing troubleshooting support.

Close collaboration with consultants, clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to address and resolve technical challenges is expected. Additionally, the engineer will prepare comprehensive progress reports, maintain relevant documentation, and support the testing and commissioning phases leading to project handover.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• At least 5 years of professional experience, including involvement in Cluster 2 airport projects within Saudi Arabia.
• Hands-on expertise in generator installation, testing, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Good understanding of airport utility systems and infrastructure.
• Knowledge of international standards, Saudi Building Code, and applicable safety regulations.
• Strong communication and coordination abilities.
• Problem-solving skills to handle technical issues efficiently.
• Possession of a valid Saudi driving license is preferred.

Work Environment

This role is based in Riyadh, operating in a dynamic airport project environment that requires regular collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. The engineer must be prepared for on-site supervision and coordination activities throughout various project stages.
