Job Overview

We are seeking a qualified Work Permit Receiver with Aramco approval to manage and oversee work permit processes within civil and construction projects. This role involves ensuring compliance with safety standards, performing site inspections, and supervising work crews to maintain a secure work environment throughout project execution.

Key Responsibilities

The main duties include obtaining, reviewing, and fully understanding various work permits such as Hot Work, Cold Work, and Confined Space before any operations begin. The candidate will perform detailed pre-job site inspections to identify any hazards and verify the presence of necessary safety controls including barricades, lockout/tagout (LOTO) measures, and fire protection systems.

Daily toolbox talks are conducted to communicate permit conditions, safety hazards, and site rules effectively to the entire team. Throughout the work period, the supervisor ensures all personnel are wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and strictly follow isolation and LOTO protocols.

Continuous monitoring of ongoing activities is required with the authority to halt work immediately if any safety violations or unsafe conditions arise. Proper documentation must be maintained to ensure permits are correctly closed upon job completion and the site is restored to a safe state.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Proven experience in handling work permits, especially within Aramco-approved projects.
• Strong knowledge of safety procedures related to Hot Work, Cold Work, and Confined Space operations.
• Ability to conduct thorough site inspections and enforce safety protocols.
• Excellent communication skills for leading effective toolbox talks and coordinating with teams.
• Ability to maintain accurate safety documentation and permit records.
• Authorization to stop work in case of unsafe practices.

This position operates within the civil and construction sector, primarily on-site in Saudi Arabia. The role demands a proactive approach to safety management and close interaction with site crews, ensuring a secure and compliant work atmosphere aligned with Aramco standards.
