Job Overview

We are currently looking for a skilled Electrical AutoCAD Draftsman to join our engineering team in Dammam. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience creating detailed electrical drawings and layouts using AutoCAD, with a strong background in electrical shop and as-built drawings. This role is crucial for ensuring precise documentation and coordination across electrical projects, including solar energy systems.

Key Responsibilities

The Electrical AutoCAD Draftsman will be responsible for preparing and updating electrical drawings to meet project specifications. This includes producing accurate shop drawings and as-built documentation. The role requires close collaboration with engineers and other disciplines to maintain the accuracy and integrity of all drawing deliverables throughout the project lifecycle. Proper revision control and documentation management are also essential duties.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in electrical AutoCAD drafting.
• Proficient with AutoCAD software specifically for electrical drafting.
• Solid knowledge of electrical codes, engineering standards, and best practices.
• Experience with solar photovoltaic (PV) projects is highly desirable.
• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Strong communication and organizational skills to work independently and with project teams effectively.
