Job Overview
We are currently seeking qualified candidates for various offshore and marine technical roles based in the Eastern Region of Saudi Arabia. These positions involve working on vessels and offshore platforms, supporting critical maritime operations. Candidates must be open to local transfer assignments and prepared for extended offshore rotations.
Available Positions and Responsibilities
1. Offshore Mechanic I
This role involves maintaining and repairing vital machinery such as diesel engines, propulsion systems, and hydraulics on vessels and oil rigs. Tasks include preventative maintenance, diagnosing mechanical issues, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols in challenging maritime conditions. A BOSIET certification is mandatory, along with technical expertise in handling heavy equipment offshore.
2. Marine HVAC Technician I
Candidates will perform routine upkeep and emergency repairs on HVAC and refrigeration systems aboard marine vessels and rigs. Responsibilities include compressor and condenser inspections, refrigerant management, and maintaining environmental quality in living and operational spaces. Required qualifications include universal EPA certification, vocational HVAC training, and offshore survival certification (BOSIET).
3. Marine Electrician I
This entry-level electrician position entails installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical and electronic systems on vessels and offshore platforms. Core duties focus on power generation, distribution, and servicing navigation and communication equipment. Proficiency in reading electrical schematics and possession of STCW or equivalent offshore medical certificates are essential.
4. Electric Motor / Alternator Rewinder
An entry-level workshop role assisting with the disassembly, cleaning, and preparation of electric motors and alternators for rewinding. The technician will support senior staff by handling winding removal, conducting basic electrical tests, and adhering to workshop safety standards.
5. FRC / Small Boat Technician
Responsible for maintaining fast rescue crafts and small marine vessels, this position requires servicing engines, troubleshooting hydraulic and electrical systems, and ensuring compliance with SOLAS and IMO safety regulations. Valid offshore certifications and mechanical aptitude are critical for maintaining operational readiness.
6. Rigger III
Applicants must hold a valid Rigger III certification to manage rigging operations safely and efficiently on offshore sites.
7. Radio Surveyor – Electronic Technician Grade I
This role focuses on inspecting and maintaining marine communication and navigation systems to meet international safety standards. Responsibilities include assisting with GMDSS radio surveys, testing AIS, EPIRB, and VDR systems, and troubleshooting bridge electronics. A background in Electronics Engineering, GMDSS General Operator Certificate (GOC), and the ability to interpret technical schematics are required.
