Job Overview

We are seeking experienced professionals to join our team for the prestigious Qiddiyah FIFA Stadium project in Riyadh. We have two exciting openings for a Senior Planning Engineer and a Chief Structural Engineer to contribute to this landmark construction project.

Senior Planning Engineer Responsibilities and Requirements

The Senior Planning Engineer will be responsible for developing and managing comprehensive project schedules, ensuring alignment with construction specifications and project milestones. Key duties include building the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) in Primavera P6, preparing baseline and rolling schedules, and managing resource allocation for manpower, materials, and machinery.

Other responsibilities include:

• Tracking and updating project progress regularly with Primavera P6 tools.
• Generating resource histograms, curves, and value progress reports to monitor consumption and performance.
• Conducting schedule deviation analysis and forecasting progress trends.
• Providing timely reports and alerts to mitigate delay risks and implementing corrective actions.
• Managing schedule risks such as drawing delays, supply chain issues, and interface challenges.
• Performing schedule change management including Time Impact Analysis for variations and supporting claims preparation.

The ideal candidate should be proficient in English for seamless communication with international teams, skilled in Primavera P6 and Excel, and familiar with project management software such as Microsoft Project, Acumen Fuse, and Tekla. A construction practitioner certificate or PMP certification is preferred, with a mandatory Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) certification.

Chief Structural Engineer Responsibilities and Requirements

The Chief Structural Engineer will oversee the technical management of steel structure projects, primarily within Saudi overseas EPC contracts. Key responsibilities include reviewing and approving construction and shop drawings, managing the fabrication and erection processes, and resolving technical challenges related to complex joints, welding, and structural deformations.

Additional duties involve coordinating technical communications and documentation with clients and contractors, ensuring project compliance with AISC and BS international standards, and leading teams through construction phases with a focus on quality and safety.

Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil or Structural Engineering, possess an SCE registration certificate, and have strong English communication skills. Candidates should bring over eight years of technical management experience in steel structure projects, including at least three to five years as a chief engineer or technical principal. Familiarity with large-scale projects such as long-span venues or transport hubs and proficiency in Tekla Structures with expertise in steel detailing and fabrication are essential.
