Job Overview
We are seeking a seasoned Supply Chain and Procurement Manager to lead and oversee all procurement and supply chain operations within the company. This role involves ensuring timely and cost-effective sourcing, purchasing, and delivery of materials, equipment, and services supporting diverse business units such as industrial projects, maintenance, trading, and engineering activities.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing procurement activities across multiple categories including materials, equipment, subcontractors, and services. Key duties include:
- Establishing and nurturing strong strategic relationships with both local and international suppliers and original equipment manufacturers (OEMs).
- Overseeing supplier evaluation, qualification, and ongoing performance monitoring.
- Leading commercial negotiations and handling purchase order administration with precision.
- Managing logistics, freight forwarding, customs clearance, and domestic transportation to ensure smooth delivery processes.
- Coordinating shipment tracking and courier service management through platforms such as DHL.
- Collaborating closely with departments including Engineering, Projects, Sales, Finance, and Operations to synchronize procurement efforts.
- Monitoring procurement schedules rigorously to guarantee timely delivery of materials.
- Supporting effective inventory planning and managing warehouse coordination.
- Utilizing Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP system effectively to streamline procurement and supply chain workflows.
- Ensuring compliance with corporate policies, contractual obligations, and Saudi regulatory requirements.
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives and identifying opportunities for cost optimization.
Required Skills and Experience
The ideal candidate should possess:
- A bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or a related field.
- Professional procurement or supply chain certifications are a strong plus.
- Between 10 to 15 years of comprehensive experience in procurement and supply chain management, including at least 5 years in a leadership capacity.
- Proven expertise managing procurement in industrial projects, EPC, manufacturing, engineering, or industrial services sectors.
- Solid understanding of logistics, contract administration, vendor management, and procurement best practices.
- Experience working in the GCC region, specifically Saudi Arabia, is highly desirable.
