Job Overview
We are looking for a proactive Mechanical Engineer to join our team as a Sales and Estimation Engineer. In this role, you will be involved in both technical sales and pricing estimations for industrial equipment, particularly in steam and hot water systems, mechanical components, and aftermarket solutions provided by reputable international manufacturers. This position plays a key role in business development and customer engagement across diverse industrial sectors.
Key Responsibilities
The Sales and Estimation Engineer will be responsible for:
- Identifying and developing new business opportunities with end users, trading companies, EPC contractors, and maintenance service providers.
- Preparing detailed technical and commercial quotations that align with customer requirements.
- Reviewing RFQs, technical drawings, specifications, and related documents to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Providing thorough product selection advice and addressing technical inquiries from customers.
- Tracking quotations through to order confirmation and closure.
- Collaborating closely with manufacturers and suppliers to obtain necessary technical and commercial support.
- Conducting customer visits to uncover maintenance, replacement, and retrofit possibilities.
- Keeping precise sales records updated within the company’s ERP/CRM systems to support operational efficiency.

This role covers a wide range of products, including:
- Steam and hot water systems
- Pressure management equipment
- Industrial valves
- Steam traps
- Boiler spare parts and accessories
- Heat recovery units
- Water treatment devices
- Various industrial spare parts and mechanical components
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering is essential.
- Between 3 and 7 years of experience in technical sales, estimation, or application engineering.
- Preferably experience within industrial equipment sectors such as valves, boilers, steam systems, or process industries.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building capabilities.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications effectively.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and experience with ERP/CRM software.
Preferred Experience
Experience working with trading companies, industrial end users, EPC contractors, and maintenance or aftermarket businesses will be highly advantageous for this role.
