A well-established construction and contracting firm based in Dubai is seeking a skilled Senior Accountant to join their finance team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for accounting professionals with extensive experience in the construction industry who are currently residing in the UAE.

Key Responsibilities

The Senior Accountant will oversee project accounting, manage job costing, prepare detailed financial reports, and ensure smooth cash flow management. Handling VAT compliance and utilizing ERP or accounting software will be integral parts of this position. The role requires overseeing accurate financial data to support strategic decision-making within ongoing construction projects.

Required Skills and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 8 to 10 years of professional accounting experience, preferably within the construction or contracting industry.
• Solid knowledge of project accounting, job costing, and VAT regulations.
• Proficient in ERP and accounting systems.
• Strong analytical and leadership abilities.
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration.

Candidate Requirements

Applicants should currently be residing in the United Arab Emirates. Preference will be given to candidates of Arabic nationality, particularly Egyptians. Immediate availability or the ability to join the company on short notice is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits

The monthly salary for this role is AED 10,000, reflective of the candidate’s skills and experience. Additional benefits may be discussed during the interview process.
