Job Overview

We are seeking a qualified Structural Design Engineer to join a prominent infrastructure services provider based in Riyadh. This role focuses on designing scaffolding, formwork, shoring, and other temporary works, ensuring all solutions are safe, cost-effective, and meet rigorous industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing detailed engineering designs, drawings, and structural calculations. The role demands strict adherence to international standards such as BS, EN, ACI, and OSHA, as well as specifications from major clients including Aramco and SABIC. Additionally, you will provide technical support during installation and on-site execution phases, work closely with project managers, draftsmen, and site teams, and carry out design reviews, risk assessments, and site inspections as needed.

Required Skills and Experience

Candidates should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering and possess between three to seven years of relevant experience, specifically in scaffolding, formwork, or temporary works design. Experience in the oil and gas, petrochemical, or large infrastructure sectors will be highly advantageous. Proficiency in AutoCAD and engineering calculation tools is essential, alongside strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of load combinations and structural stability principles.

Clear and effective technical communication abilities are vital to coordinate efficiently across multidisciplinary teams and ensure project success.
