Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Lead Cost Engineer to oversee budgeting, cost control, forecasting, and financial reporting for major oil and gas capital projects in Riyadh. This role requires a professional with strong expertise in multi-discipline cost engineering and a proven track record in managing project finances within the industry.

Key Responsibilities

The Lead Cost Engineer will be responsible for providing comprehensive cost analysis and control throughout the project lifecycle. This includes monitoring expenditures to ensure alignment with contractual terms, reviewing claims and change orders, and actively participating in contract negotiations to safeguard financial interests.

Required Skills and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Management Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• At least 7 years of professional experience in cost engineering, preferably within oil and gas sectors.
• In-depth knowledge of multi-discipline cost engineering practices.
• Strong analytical skills to track, forecast, and report on project costs effectively.
• Excellent command of English, with full professional proficiency.

Preferred Qualifications

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• Certified Cost Professional (CCP) accreditation.
