Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Project Manager for a short-term role based in Jebel Ali, Dubai, specializing in steel structure and piping fabrication projects. The ideal candidate will bring over 15 years of proven expertise in managing complex fabrication projects, with a strong focus on quality, schedule, and budget adherence. Immediate availability is preferred to join and lead demanding projects efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will oversee the full lifecycle of steel structural and piping fabrication projects, ensuring all objectives are met effectively. Key duties include:

• Leading and coordinating project execution, guaranteeing alignment with scope, timelines, budget, and quality standards.
• Planning and monitoring fabrication activities through close collaboration with engineering, procurement, QA/QC, and production departments.
• Creating detailed project schedules, workforce plans, and resource allocation methods to meet deadlines.
• Engaging with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to facilitate smooth operations and swiftly resolve any technical or commercial matters.
• Reviewing engineering drawings, fabrication specifications, material take-offs, and project documentation prior to commencement.
• Tracking fabrication progress, identifying risks of delay, and implementing corrective measures to maintain schedules.
• Ensuring compliance with international codes, client requirements, and in-house quality policies.
• Managing procurement, inventory, and logistics to support uninterrupted fabrication workflows.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Candidates must have extensive experience managing steel structure and piping fabrication projects. Additional qualifications include:

• At least 15 years of hands-on project management experience in relevant fabrication fields.
• Preference will be given to candidates with ADNOC approval or prior involvement in ADNOC-related projects.
• Relevant certifications related to fabrication, welding, quality assurance, or related technical disciplines are highly desirable.
• Strong leadership skills with proven ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams.
