Hepton Electromechanical Company is actively seeking a skilled Procurement Officer to join our dynamic team in Abu Dhabi, UAE. This role is ideal for professionals with procurement experience in the construction and MEP sectors, looking to contribute to a growing company that values efficiency and strong supplier relationships.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing and procuring construction and MEP materials to support ongoing projects. You will obtain and assess quotations from suppliers, negotiate prices, delivery schedules, and payment terms to ensure cost-effectiveness and timely supply. Managing purchase orders and following up on deliveries will be critical, along with coordinating closely with project and site teams to guarantee material availability when needed. Maintaining solid relationships with suppliers and keeping accurate procurement records will also form an essential part of your role.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Applicants should possess a bachelor’s degree or diploma in a relevant field and have between 2 to 5 years of procurement experience, preferably within the MEP or construction industry. Familiarity with local UAE suppliers and a good understanding of the construction market will be advantageous. Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills are necessary to thrive in this position. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP or procurement management systems is also required. Prior work experience within the UAE is preferred but not mandatory.
