Job Overview

We are looking for a dedicated and knowledgeable IT Support Specialist to join our healthcare team in Riyadh. This role is vital in maintaining and supporting the organization’s IT infrastructure, ensuring smooth network operations, and delivering timely technical assistance to staff. The ideal candidate will handle hardware and software troubleshooting, promote data security, and contribute to uninterrupted IT services that support high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

The IT Support Specialist will play a key role in managing various aspects of our technical environment, including:

• Providing frontline technical support for computers, printers, network devices, and other IT equipment.
• Installing, configuring, and maintaining hardware, software, and operating systems.
• Monitoring and ensuring reliability of the organization’s network infrastructure, such as LAN, Wi-Fi, and internet connectivity.
• Supporting healthcare information systems and ensuring their effective operation within the clinical environment.
• Conducting routine system maintenance, applying software updates, and installing security patches promptly.
• Managing user accounts, access controls, and password settings.
• Diagnosing and resolving issues related to network, servers, email, and overall systems.
• Keeping accurate IT inventory records including hardware assets, software licenses, and peripheral devices.
• Executing regular data backup processes and assisting in disaster recovery planning to safeguard organizational data.
• Implementing cybersecurity measures aligned with best practices to protect sensitive healthcare information.
• Coordinating with external vendors and service providers to facilitate specialized support when required.
• Maintaining detailed documentation of IT assets, support tickets, and technical procedures.
• Ensuring compliance with organizational IT policies and conforming to Saudi healthcare data security regulations.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in IT support, systems administration, or network administration, preferably within healthcare environments.
• Proficiency with Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office, networking concepts, and hardware troubleshooting.
• Basic understanding of servers, Active Directory, virtualization technologies, and cybersecurity principles is an advantage.
• Prior experience supporting healthcare or hospital information systems is desirable but not mandatory.
• Strong analytical abilities and problem-solving skills for effective technical issue resolution.
• Excellent communication capabilities combined with a customer-focused approach.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team setting.
