Katrina Group is currently seeking a seasoned Chief Accountant to enhance our finance team based in Jebel Ali, Dubai. This position is ideal for professionals with a strong foundation in accounting within General Trading and FMCG Manufacturing sectors. The role demands expertise in various accounting disciplines including cost accounting, inventory management, VAT compliance specific to the UAE, and comprehensive financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

The selected candidate will manage the general ledger and ensure accurate financial reporting and budgeting. In addition, they will oversee cost accounting practices and inventory processes to optimize operational efficiency. Adherence to UAE VAT laws and regulations will be crucial, alongside supporting financial analysis activities and potentially working with ERP systems to streamline accounting functions.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related disciplines.
• Professional accounting certifications such as ACCA, CMA, or CPA are highly advantageous.
• A minimum of 5 to 8 years of relevant experience, especially within General Trading and FMCG Manufacturing industries.
• Thorough understanding of UAE accounting standards and tax regulations.
• Strong analytical abilities combined with excellent organizational and communication skills.
