Job Overview

Udrive is seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant specializing in Accounts Payable to join their finance team. The ideal candidate will have 4 to 6 years of experience working within the UAE, preferably handling high-volume transaction environments. This role focuses on managing payables with accuracy and efficiency while supporting overall accounting operations.

Key Responsibilities

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for overseeing accounts payable processes, ensuring timely and accurate payments, and maintaining proper documentation. This position includes reconciling vendor statements, managing invoice confirmations, and collaborating with other departments to resolve discrepancies. Strong analytical skills are necessary to support month-end closing and reporting activities thoroughly.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related discipline is required.
• Professional certifications such as ACCA, CMA, CA-Intermediate, or their equivalents are preferred.
• Proven expertise in accounts payable procedures combined with thorough knowledge of UAE VAT regulations.
• Experience using ERP systems, ideally Microsoft Dynamics 365, is highly beneficial.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables, XLOOKUP, and Power Query for data analysis and reporting.
• Strong reconciliation abilities and a keen eye for detail.

Compensation

The salary offered for this position is up to AED 8,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
