Job Overview

Advance Technical Services (ATS) is seeking a skilled Project Control Engineer to join their team in Riyadh. This role is crucial for managing project schedules, cost controls, and performance tracking to ensure projects are delivered successfully and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

The Project Control Engineer will develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or MS Project, ensuring timelines are up to date. They will manage cost control systems, including creating budgets, forecasts, and conducting cash flow analyses. Monitoring project progress to identify any risks or delays and implementing mitigation plans is essential.

Additional duties include performing schedule and cost variance analyses, preparing comprehensive progress reports and dashboards for management review, and establishing baseline schedules with resource and cost loading. The engineer will monitor expenditures against planned costs and conduct Earned Value Analysis (EVA) to assess project performance.

Supporting variation orders, claims, and change management processes also falls under this role, alongside assisting in the development of mitigation and recovery plans. Tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) related to project delivery will be an ongoing responsibility.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Candidates should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. A thorough understanding of planning, scheduling, and cost control principles is necessary. Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) techniques is highly preferred.

Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, and Microsoft Office applications is essential. Strong analytical abilities, effective reporting skills, and clear communication are required to succeed in this fast-paced environment. The ability to juggle multiple priorities and deadlines is also important.
