Job Overview

CSI Global is a leading provider of electromechanical, testing, and commissioning services throughout the GCC. We specialize in delivering technical consultancy for infrastructure projects, focusing on Commissioning Management (Cx), Independent Commissioning Agent (ICA) services, TAB, and MEP Diagnostics. Currently, we are seeking a Senior Business Development Engineer to join our team in Riyadh and drive our growth in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

This role is ideal for a commercially minded engineering professional with strong expertise in engineering consultancy and specialized services. You will serve as the vital connection between CSI Global’s technical solutions and the needs of mid to large-scale EPC contractors, PMCs, and developers. Your objective will be to understand client project challenges and strategically position our ICA and Cx Management services to support high-performance buildings, mission-critical facilities, and energy-efficient projects.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Stakeholder Relationships:

• Identify new business opportunities and secure contracts for commissioning, TAB, and MEP consultancy services across KSA.
• Establish and nurture strong professional relationships with key decision-makers within PMCs, consultants, and EPC firms.
• Effectively communicate the advantages and technical strengths of CSI Global’s ICA and Commissioning Management offerings.

Consultative Engagement and Proposal Development:

• Analyze client requirements and project specifications to develop tailored, innovative engineering service proposals.
• Collaborate closely with Tendering and Technical teams to deliver precise and competitive bids.
• Prepare and present high-level presentations that clarify complex engineering concepts and demonstrate the commercial value of certified services such as NEBB, NETA, and LEED.

Market Intelligence and Commercial Operations:

• Lead commercial negotiations, ensuring alignment with company policies and approval hierarchies.
• Stay informed on industry trends, large-scale upcoming projects, and the regulatory environment within the Saudi construction market.
• Maintain thorough and up-to-date sales forecasts, CRM entries, and pipeline reports for senior management review.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• At least 10 years of professional experience in the GCC region, with a minimum of 5 years based in Saudi Arabia.
• Proven track record in business development within engineering services, technical consultancy, or PMC roles.
• Deep understanding of Independent Commissioning Agent (ICA) and Commissioning (Cx) methodologies and processes.
• Exceptional communication and presentation abilities, capable of translating complex MEP and commissioning technicalities into clear commercial proposals.
• Strong familiarity with Saudi Arabia’s tender processes and contracting standards.
• Native Arabic speaker with professional fluency in English, both written and spoken.
• Valid Saudi driving license and willingness to travel extensively within the Kingdom.
