Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Building Engineer to join our team in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role requires a professional with expertise in electrical systems within building construction projects, including MEP coordination and client management. The ideal candidate will have solid experience overseeing electrical installations, ensuring compliance with industry standards and maintaining strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

The Electrical Building Engineer will be responsible for supervising electrical works throughout the construction process. This includes reviewing electrical and shop drawings, handling material submittals, and coordinating closely with consultants, contractors, and clients. You will ensure that all electrical systems meet the required specifications, safety protocols, and quality benchmarks. Monitoring project milestones, carrying out testing and commissioning activities, and preparing detailed technical reports are also essential tasks. Additionally, managing account receivables and collaborating with clients on payment follow-ups will form part of your duties.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in building construction or MEP electrical projects.
• Strong knowledge of power distribution, lighting systems, fire alarm systems, and low-current electrical installations.
• Competency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications.
• Previous experience working in GCC countries is preferred.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with an ability to effectively coordinate between various stakeholders.
• Proven capability in managing client relationships and supporting payment collection activities.
