Katrina Group is urgently looking for a skilled Chief Accountant to join their finance team located in Jebel Ali, Dubai. This role is ideal for professionals with a solid background in accounting within the General Trading and FMCG Manufacturing sectors. The position emphasizes expertise in cost accounting, inventory control, and financial compliance under UAE regulations.

Key Responsibilities

The Chief Accountant will oversee comprehensive financial operations, including managing general ledger activities, preparing accurate financial reports, and ensuring adherence to UAE VAT laws. Additional duties involve budget preparation, financial analysis, and maintaining efficient inventory management systems. Experience in ERP software integration and utilization is highly preferred to streamline financial processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field.
• Professional accounting certifications such as ACCA, CMA, CPA, or equivalent will be considered an asset.
• A minimum of 5 to 8 years of relevant experience, particularly within General Trading and FMCG Manufacturing environments.
• Thorough understanding of UAE accounting standards and tax regulations.
• Strong analytical skills paired with excellent organizational and communication abilities.
