A leading industrial services company based in Jubail Industrial City is seeking a skilled Estimation Engineer to join their team immediately. This role focuses on preparing detailed project cost estimates and managing schedules for maintenance, shutdown, and turnaround projects within the oil & gas and petrochemical industries. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting tendering, budgeting, and project execution to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery aligned with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
The Estimation Engineer will be responsible for developing accurate cost estimations and integrating these with project timelines. This includes monitoring and controlling the project schedules to support industrial maintenance and shutdown activities effectively. Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and coordination during project execution phases will be essential to meet deadlines and achieve compliance with safety and quality standards.
Required Skills and Competencies
- Proven experience with SABIC and ARAMCO projects involving shutdowns, chemical cleaning, hydro jetting, and mechanical maintenance.
- Deep understanding of maintenance and turnaround scope within industrial environments.
- Proficiency in project planning tools such as Primavera P6, MS Project, and MS Excel, as well as estimation and ERP software systems.
- Knowledge of international standards and safety practices in the oil & gas sector.
- Ability to interpret P&ID, isometric drawings, and plant maintenance workflows.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
- Effective communication and coordination skills to work with diverse teams under pressure.
- Experience working in the Middle East, especially Saudi Arabia, is highly preferred.
Qualifications and Experience
The ideal candidate should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline. A minimum of five years’ experience in planning and estimation for industrial services, particularly in maintenance, shutdown, and turnaround projects within the oil & gas sector, is required.
