Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated HR Executive to join our team in Bahrain. This role involves managing critical HR functions such as onboarding, employee data management, visa processing, and payroll coordination. The ideal candidate will play a key role in maintaining smooth HR operations while ensuring compliance with local labor laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
The HR Executive will take charge of coordinating the onboarding process for new employees, making sure all necessary documentation is completed and orientation activities are arranged. Preparing and updating job descriptions regularly will also be part of the role. Managing and safeguarding employee records, including personal data, employment history, and performance records, is essential.
Additional tasks involve handling employee status changes like promotions, transfers, and terminations, as well as managing visa applications and payments in compliance with the Social Insurance Organization (SIO) and Labor Market Authority (LMRA) regulations. This includes registering new joiners and terminating records for departing staff.
The role requires ensuring all visa-related documents, including Residence Permits and ID Cards (CPR), are processed efficiently to minimize approval times. The HR Executive will interact with the Ministry of Labour and prepare relevant correspondences as needed.
Payroll responsibilities include accurate timesheet collection and timely payroll data submission. Managing employee benefits such as health insurance and leave tracking also fall under this role. Acting as a resource for employee inquiries and assisting in addressing workplace issues, escalating matters to the HR Manager when necessary, is important. Administrative duties like scheduling meetings, preparing HR documents, and maintaining supplies are also included.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Proven experience in HR operations with a strong focus on employee onboarding, data management, and payroll administration
- Familiarity with visa processing, including work permits and renewals, in Bahrain
- Knowledge of Social Insurance Organization and Labor Market Authority procedures
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple HR tasks simultaneously
- Ability to handle sensitive employee information confidentially and professionally
- Excellent communication skills to act as a liaison between employees, government agencies, and management
- Proficiency in using HR databases and management systems
Work Environment
