Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled Civil Engineer with relevant experience in onshore construction projects for a short-term assignment lasting one month. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supervising civil works, ensuring adherence to project specifications, and conducting necessary site inspections. This position requires availability to visit the site promptly whenever supervision or inspection is required.

Key Responsibilities

The responsibilities for this role include overseeing onshore civil construction activities to ensure all work complies with approved drawings, project requirements, and safety regulations. The engineer will conduct regular site inspections, monitor progress, and report findings to the project team. Reviewing technical drawings, bills of quantities, and other project documentation will be essential. The role involves close coordination with contractors, consultants, and project managers to address and resolve any technical issues on site. Additionally, maintaining proper documentation and preparing progress reports will be part of the daily duties.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering and have a minimum of five years’ experience working on onshore construction projects. Experience in oil and gas, infrastructure, or industrial sectors is preferred. A strong understanding of construction standards, quality control procedures, and the ability to interpret engineering drawings accurately are required. Proficiency in MS Office and engineering software such as AutoCAD is expected. Candidates must be prepared to perform site visits and inspections as needed.

Additional Requirements

The candidate should possess a valid Iqama with eligibility for transfer, which is mandatory for this role. Familiarity with Saudi standards and regulatory requirements is highly advantageous. Holding a valid driving license may be required for site visits.
